is it worth it to upgrade?

sup all . i've got a question for ya. ive got a stock emag w/ 1.35 software and i was looking at upgrading it. thing is, i was just thinking about how much money it would cost me to get all the ups i want (everything ULE, freak kit) and im just wondering if its worth it. if you wouldnt mind telling me your unbiased opinion if you think its worth it for me to up this baby or if i should just go for a new gun. also id like to know what some of my options would be to get a new gun would be if i sold my emag and i could probably spare in addition $100-150

thanks in advance for all the help guys.

    It's truly personal preference.

Some people are happy with their stock marker, others want to make it the very best.

You choose, is a pound lighter (costing you a few hundred) worth it? Is having perfect ball-to-barrel match worth it (for 100-150)

    Those sort of things.

Personally I just setup the gun so it's comfortable for ME, I don't care what others think of it, if it's comfortable for me, that's all that matters.

If you were looking to get a new marker, I'd recommend the Cyborg, or an AKA Viking, those two are my favorite open-bolt electronic guns (Yes even over an emag! Sorry Although Emag is right behind that.)

If you like the feel of the gun, i'd say keep it and slap a ULE body on it (you can get used ones for $120), I just bought a ULE rail off of Roguefactor for $75 (but i'll sell my stock rail for $35 probably), so that's not a horrible amount for the ULE Rail after it's worked out.
CnC battery packs are almost impossible to find by themselves and would probably be un-annoed...I wouldn't bother with them, and the ULE grip frame really isn't much lighter than non-ULE.

As far as changing the E-Mag valve to an X-Valve, it's a waste in my opinion, the only reason i'm putting an X-Valve on my E-Mag is because I already have one on my RT Pro and am switching the valves.

As far as upgrades go, all you really need for a stock emag is

            A) LVL10 - stops the chops

            B) 3.2 software - fixes the bugs in your software and increases the ROF

            C) ULE body - lightens it significantly, if that's what you wish.

            Everything else is basically cosmetic.

              D) Have you stock rail "ULE" milled by either RougeFactor or BlackVCG. Only $35 or so and as much weight savings as an Xvalve.

just so you guys know, just a ule body wont do it for me. the difference in weight is unnoticeable. most of the weight in the mags is in the valve. to make that ULE, it would be really expensive (xvalve). just a thought. keep the opinions comin, this is helpin me out.

You'd be surprised how much weight can be saved by ULE'ing the rail and body. And if you already have an Emag, the Xvalve is only 3 oz lighter.

ULE'ing the rail will save AT LEAST 3oz and the body even more. The Xvalve is the most expensive per oz. for weight reduction.
