as much as i hate both imps and bkos id have to say go imp. a lot of these guys are saying to get a mag and get the hair when it comes out, but im thinking you have a lower income and at age 14, thats understandable (it may sound like it but i really mean no offense, i cant think of a nicer way to say it off the top of my head )

you have to keep in mind that the hair will cost a pretty penny (300?) so i would advise against it.

lastly dont ever buy a dragun. theres made in china to keep the cost down and you know the quality of products comin from china... hope that helps.

Thanks for the advice, and i thought the whole 18 bps thing was funny. Ive been playing for like 7 years with mechs and i think its time to move to electro. I think i have my game pretty polished up here i just want a different gun to mill and up for the heck of it. I can shoot 14 right now but im sure with practice i can shoot a bit faster.

Just to finish off this 18bps stuff with one final observation.

Even if it could fire that fast, you'd still need eyes otherwise you'll just chop paint.

False. Eyes to not make paintballs load faster or markers cycle faster, the keep markers from outrunning the loader and thus chopping paint. I am quite satisfied that as long as you have a hopper that can sustain an ROF well beyond what you can shoot, you do NOT benefit from an eye. Eye's come into play when people decide to put their new timmy at debounce 3 and have a 12v Revy on (but don't worry, they got the Xboard so its fast!). That is about as mismatched as a V35 Halo on a pump....

Eyes are the safety net for when you buy the wrong hopper for the job.

Wasn't exactly breakneck fast, but apparently fast enough to outrun my Reloader B on lvl 3. I'll take the eyes over hoping I won't chop.

Huh.. thought the reloader B was good for about 28bps? Not barrel breaks but breech chops eh? Well my position still stands. My QLoader video shows 2 different markers shooting at 30bps without eyes and that is pretty good if you ask me. Either way it's not worth bang heads over. Wonder if the Reloader is a little slow due to the sound activation? Be interesting to rapid-fire test one....

I've fired the thing at 18bps before (checked the sound graph myself)... not sure what was up. I pulled the bolt out and sure enough, paint all over it. Also, the QLoader is a bit faster than a Halo and more consistant as well. Oh well.

this is the best quote here. If you have to have electro, get an e-spyder, and if that doesnt cut it for you, get the t-board (30 bps, break-beam eyes). You can make a spyder very consistant, as efficient as you want, and still put less than that much money into it.

and when looking into spyders, dont worry about which one is best. They are all the same internally, just have different colors and milling paterns. the x-chanbers i wouldnt even worry about, they all basically work like a gas-thru anyway. And side, mid, or rear cocking-its all preference. Soooo... get the cheapest one you can, and if it's got an e-frame make sure the frame is the metal one.

About the cap - even if the board is capped at 18bps it would be nearly impossible to hit anything over 15bps due to the cap throwing shots out. And I know I can hit 15-16bps all day on just about any electro.

Just get the BKO, you can put a new board in it and go faster. But, I would suggest picking up a bushy instead. I have heard from a few that the BKO has a few problems that plague its design. Besides, if you plan to shoot 18bps+ you will most definitely end up chopping a few so don't worry about being blazing fast unless you have eyes.
