Find people with the guns in question or go to a shop that has them and shoot them for yourself. Only you know what you want and like, so it's all up to you. We can only give you the info on benefits and set backs that each guns have. Search E-Mag and Intimidator, there's plenty of info about the E-Mag here and plenty of info on the Intimidator at PBnation.com and paintballcity.com

    Good luck with your decision.

I was in the same dilemma!!! So many choices!! I tried most of the top end guns out there, from Bushy and Imp, to Angel and Sandridge, and chose the E-mag!!! I like the solid feel, the few ounces of extra weight doesn't bother me, I like the fact that I can shoot with or without batteries, love the "hybrid" mode and so on...!!! Try as many guns as you can, preferably shoot paint out of them, and choose based on your preferences!!!
      E-Mag's on a diet
      Stay tuned for Pics!!!

        my 2 pennies worth...

I was lucky enough to play with both the Timmy and Emag, it's a toss up. Neither is better than the other in my opinion. I got to tell you though...the timmy is lighter and prettier than the Emag, but the Emag is still a mag and can outlast even a cockroach in a nuclear blast.

          ---E-Matrix---
          +ROF
          +Angel like trigger
          +reliability
          +ACCURACY
+$650 ($800 with bolt mod- still about 3/4ths cheaper than an Angel LCD)
          +removable breach
          +stock barrel
          +LP
          +high rise
-gas hog (with out bolt mod)
          -pricy for some people..
          -tons of o-rings

          +ROF
          +reliable
          +AGD service
          +small
          +easily stripped
          +stock barrel
          -abit harder on paint
          -PRICE
          -low resales value

          ---Timmy---

            Hey,

FeeltheRT......three of the markers you listed he had in his Out of Race pile.

But, if you want to conserve your money.....

You could get either a Demonic Impulse=$800, or a Freak Factory Impulse=$900.....still $100 to $200 cheaper than a new E-mag.

            Impulse:
            +ROF for price
+Demonic and Freak Factory=awesome milling and looks
            +Stock barrel(Smart Parts Progressive)
            +Size and Weight
            +Stock vert feed
            +Many choices of triggers
            +Works effienctly on CO2
-Stock vert feed(We'll get to this + and - a little later)
            -Not many upgrades

Ok, about the plus and minus of the stock vert feed. It is a good thing, due to the fact Smart Parts didn't make the Shocker at the stock price vert feed. The bad thing is that it is harder to run a warp hose to the top of this, which makes the cost of the Warp increase(90 degree T adapter-$50)

So far, the Impulse is the only marker I've been able to play with enough to give you my opinion. But the E-Mag is my next..

            E-mag:
            +Fast
            +Reliable
+Customer service is great if anything goes wrong
            +Small
            +Electric/Manual/Hybrid fire modes
            +Easily cleaned/mantained
            +Many body styles available(warp left,warp right,vert,p/f left, p/f right)
            -Not Z-grip compatiable
-Price(but if you have the $$$ not a problem)

              Yeah.

I heard the matrix is a gas hog. And in addition to that I have heard people have a lot of problems with them. They are breaking down and that it is very hard to maintain. Also, I know there tech support is not the best! I have a life and I do not want to be fiddling and fixing my gun all day...ya know?

Thanks A lot..Feel the RT for all your suggestons.

              The intimidator.
I can get with a vigilante reg, extra barrel, lp mod, and a couple other things for 450 used. Also, I heard instance where Bob Long himself called someone and tried to fix a problem his self.

              E-Mag.

I can buy one used for like 700 at the lowest. STOCK! So like there is a 250 dollar difference.

I know nothing about Impulses, so I am not sure about it. But thanks for your suggestion!
