    what rail?

hey guys I was assembling my brand new ule automag yesterday when I realized that the sear didn't sit right in the rail my shop had ordered for me. It turned out the rail was an automag rt rail so there wasn't the normal notch for the sear pin like most other rails. I was wondering what rail I should be using so I can tell them to order me a new one. I can't wait to get this gun together so please give an and all input you can. thanks

You don't need a new rail - you just need a new sear assembly. Get the shop to order you a RT Pro sear assembly and a sear axel pin. Links here:

This is assuming your rail has a threaded hole in it in one side right above where the gripframe mounts.

If you don't have that hole then you have a AM/MM rail and a RT sear, which is just the exact opposite problem - get a AM/MM sear and a sear pin.

    Hope this helps.

I know I have the RT rail but I am looking for a a different rail because I plan to put a front grip on it and I don't like all the extra sight rails and the adapter I need to put in to add a grip. I am just looking for an some what commercially attainable rail that I can switch my rt one for. thanx for the help though

you don't need to purchase a new rail to put an asa on the rail directly, you just need to drill through the hole on the rail that AGD provded you with. It's already threaded and everything.
