canemaster, you might want to change your sig image before a mod yells at ya, you are wayyyy over the size limit.

I think I'm going to do that with my halo, but it would be pointless since I have a smoke one.

A Halo is heavy even without the batteries in it. So therefore, all weight lost is great. You should figure out a way to cnc machine the shell of the halo so that it is thinner but still strong. Like do the girder pattern you did on the "loading tray" (I don't know the actual name for it.) That would be sweet to make custom halo loaders...mmm...custom.

Odd, when both are filled with paint and have batteries, a Halo weighs just as much as an Evo2... It's not that heavy.

I like what you have done so far, the gears may prove a little harder to make like watch gears, the warp feed has a similar idea but it is half milled (well moulded). If you take things a little further from a looks point of view shrink wrap the wires with some coloured wrap and while you have the Halo apart again fit a Rip drive.

                      THat's cool looking!
While were on the subject of Halo's, can you increase the speed of a stock z code board? I thought I read somewhere that it was possible.

Hehe, can't help the mess but can you show me any tinkerer that doesn't have a somewhat messy workarea?

As for more cutting, I'm also doing the gears/pulley completely through, and the space under the drive cone on the main dish. Then custom wire a Zboard from an egg in and run the whole thing off 2 9v's. How's that for one of a kind loader, don't see those too often

Wait till you see the void-warrantee work I have coming up on my emag...def nothing that's ever be done before...by the end of this month...
