    Ricochet Apache Users!? Opinions?

just as the title reads, i plan on spending some good money into one of these loaders. From the reviews they seem reliable, hard shelled, durable, and fast. A package that Im looking for. Its a little faster than the egg 2 and cheaper than the halo B. How are your thoughts/opinions on these ricochet apache loaders? and there customer service is supposed to be the best or so i hear. Is this APache loader still able to agitate when it is completely full?

i dont have an apache but i do have a 2k1 lcd and i loved that until i got my new gun and outran it. anyways yeah the apache is really fast my friend uses it and has had no issues and they are pretty durable but you have to watch out for the side screen ive heard of them getting shot and then either cracking or just coming completly out.. customer service is hands down amazing my friend left my 2k1 in my car and it melted i sent it to them and they sent me a new complete loader very promptly.

Apache isn't extremely fast, its probably close to a evo. Honestly watching the apache vid (linked below) it seems slower than my old evoII with zboard.

Here's a vid of an Apache shooting:

      Same gun, but with Halo:

i used one for a tourney and it just wasnt my style. sure its fast and all but i just dont like the feel of it. personally im going halo. three teammates of mine have apaches and two have been used extensively, in my experience they just chew through batteries (change em every day of play) im not sure if this is just these 2 or if was crappy batteries or something but i certainly wasnt impressed with the battery life. also another factor to consider is that it is not force fed. its kind of a new idea that feeds real fast but it wont work like a halo. (as in if you turn it upside down it wont continue to feed, like a halo would....)

but all in all its not a bad hopper, it seemed very durable and if you like the feel of it, its a great loader. sorry if that confused you or didnt help you at all, but i tried

thanks for the replies, good or bad keep em coming! I just cant fork up the $$ to get a halo B plus from the reviews they seem more reliable/lighter than a halo B (not trying to stir anything up with the halo B users), and i dont plan on shooting 22+bps any time soon. As long as it can keep up with me im good!

Havn't used an Apache, but Ricochet has the best customer service ever. I had a problem with my AK motor (far after the warrenty period) and they sent me a new loader w/ extra shells and express shipping for free.

That is treating your customers well.

We ran some informal tests of the Egg vs. my Apache, and found them about the same, with the egg a tiny bit faster.

As far as batteries, my experience has been completely different - only changed them once in maybe 4 or 5 months.

One thing I don't like is that tiny little window is not particulary useful. I guess it doesn't matter if you're good at judging how much paint you've used, but I would prefer to see easily how much I have left.

i had a apache and it was great

                    very fast
not as loud as the AK
has a timer on it, very important to me

and as stated above the customer service is the best i have ever seen

i broke my feedneck sliding into a bunker. called them up for a replacement. they asked for my adde and said they would ship it out today. i had it the next day and they didnt charge me nothing for it.
i have heard numerous people say the same thing

                    great loaders

Hmmm...interesting. I found just the opposite. I found that the Apache consistantly fed 2 or 3 bps faster than an Egg with Z board.

if halos are so good, the sellers must be crazy for selling them all the time!

I've never seen a good one go for less than $85 personally.

I shoot a level 7 minimag with a blade intelliframe and other upgrades. I just find that the x board has a weak motor even when it is half full.

an apache would be great for your minimag. the only real downside that comes to mind right now is if you go to bunker someone on a laydown bunker (so you put your marker over the bunker) and dont control it correctly, the balls will be sucked out of the breach and feedneck due to centrigual force. a force fed hopper like a halo would stop that (since its true force fed), but its probably not worth your extra cash. so in the end i would say just get an apache.
