I think that's the point. I beleive the name "Heavy Metal" refers to the comic/movie of the same name. If that's the case, the gun fits in perfectly with the theme of the weapons used.Originally posted by Mister SinisterI think its fugly. And not just cause this is a raw specimen. Cleaning up the finish with some nice anno wont fix the rakish lines. To me the milling looks primitive, add a little corrosion and it would look like something out of a "Mad Max" movie.

So the market strategy is to evoke the image of the large breasted cartoon woman riding winged creature wielding this marker to help sales?Originally posted by mobiusI think that's the point. You can go a long way with a smile. You can go a lot farther with a smile and a gun.

Umm now that I look at it a second time a little more closely. I notice the subtle details, thatare not there. What are those thingd on the side supposed to be, gills? It is an ugly gun. Who ever buys this gun as some major ego issues.I am a declared Carb lover.

The Dark Shocker is just a Heavy Metal Shocker (designed by Heavy D of Warped Sportz Tinley Park) with Function parts on it.Comment

Now that is a fine example of Drem-tastic workmanship... EW!

wow....again i ask, am i the only one that really likes this thing??
i can't wait to see it after anno
and how many guns actually look that good raw?? sure some do, but this thing will look much better with annoThe very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves. 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Nah, I like it too.Originally posted by whydoineedausernamewow....again i ask, am i the only one that really likes this thing?? . . .
At least the body. Don't care much for the trigger guard, but overall I think it looks pretty good.
I'd like to see the folks who called it dremal-tastic actually take a die grinder or dremal tool, and turn out something that looks even half that good.
Everybody is so jaded any more, nothing seems to be good enough.
I dig it, but I know how much work that guy has to have in it, so I wouldn't flame on it even if I thought it was fugly.
(This is also why I am a bit hesitant to try my hand at turning out a whole custom marker . . . . what if no body likes them?
)

It looks... raw. It might look better when it's finished.
Where's the F.A.K.K. 2 Mag?

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to have an old Shocker called 'heavy metal'?Comment
