The stars should be on the right side of the valve.
Hey, look at that! It's Santa!

              some valves have no stars.

this is from the warrenty information on www.airgun.com

"We no longer provide free warranty service for older Classic, 68AutoMag, and Minimag valves without stars located on the valve. If a starless valve comes in (this includes valves with stars but have aftermarket reg halves which include ANS Phase II regulators, PMI Perfect Charger regulators, Diamond Labs 8-hole mod regulators, and etc.), we will contact the customer to arrange payment before beginning repair work. In other words: No Star, No Warranty. The marker must come in for inspection at the factory before we can consider waiving any fees."

I dont see any on yours. And with what Skoad said about the starless valves, I never knew that. You might have one of those starless valves. Why did AGD make starless ones?

here is a quote concerning your xvalve w/out a star:

"All E-Mags, RT Pros, Retro Valves and Flatlines without engraved stars have the equivalent of 2 stars. We will "punch" the valve to show that a warranty repair has been done on the valve. We are going to begin laser-engraving stars on these valves soon."

stars were on the valves before 99.

i never knew they didnt put them on some valves, except micromags, obviously, since they were made by PTP.
