I need to know the date on this tank please, Im not sure if I understand it...

Is the date '02 02'(february 2nd, 2002) ? Any help would be much appreciated.

They're should be two dates on your tank. One is the hydro date, which I'm sure you found. The other should be near the hydro date. Mine says 2 96 with a symbol in between. The date is printed somewhere on the tank. Makes it easier for the hydro testers to know when to stop testing it( 15 years).

Yes, which means it needs to be rehydroed this upcoming febuary.

Didn't the test period for fiber tanks also get increased to every 5 years?

it should say it on the tank where the d.o.t. has a statement on there.
