    my first custom 'mag

i just finished building my first custom automag (believe it or not, this gun started as a stock 68 Classic), and was feelin' the urge to show it off - wondered what you guys thought. it took me 6 months of solid work to pay off this baby, and i know it's not the best out there, but i would like to see what the experts had to say about it.

-retro valve, black minimag vert feed body, black-to-red evil pipe barrel, angel reg, shocktech drop-forward @ on/off, and i have an Evo II hopper, and a 68/3000 pure energy preset.
(i also did a little custom job on the trigger)

Its looking good; one of the best "I worked all summer to build a budget mag" mag that I have ever seen

You definitely need to sell that reg and put on a foregrip though; its not good to double reg a mag. Good choice on not putting a ridiculous drop forward on it as well.

Try to get an intelliframe, and you will be set.

      and

yeah...i've been hearing i should get rid of the reg, so thanks. and yes, that is a 'cocker threaded barrel - i have one of doc's cocker inserts. btw, what exactly does an intelliframe do? (i'm fairly new to the 'mag business). thanks for the compliments, that makes me feel great about my baby !

the intelliframe puts a switch in the frame that is hooked up to your revvy. so that the revvy agitates everytime the gun is fired.

With a few parts from Radio shack you can hook it up to a revy. Every time you pull the trigger it will activate the rotor in the revy. Here is a Picture

EDIT: Nooo, Chojin Man you beat me by a couple secounds...

Ya, but the real reason for buying an I frame is just how good of a frame it is. Solid built, METAL, and has a nice trigger.

It's got the black on the rear of the valve. It could very wel be an emag valve, Or an RT valve

Cant be an emag valve. Emag valve's are grayish, and that is black.
But take off your minireg, it is reducing the flow rate, and it may be starving your valve.
Hey, look at that! It's Santa!
