For looks or performance? Although John L. is much smarter than I, I would be hesistant to do any drop on a vette. One of the best performing cars on the planet, however, with the TT setup you just added about 100-175lbs under the hood. What trim turbo's did you go with?

Looks. They are hesitant to drop it any, and if they do, then no more than 0.75-1", but I don't like huge gaps in the wheel arches.Originally posted by gtrsiFor looks or performance? Although John L. is much smarter than I, I would be hesistant to do any drop on a vette.
I have 18" front and 19" rear wheels coming, so we'll see after they are in place.
True, but it also adds a minimum of 250RWHP!Originally posted by gtrsiOne of the best performing cars on the planet, however, with the TT setup you just added about 100-175lbs under the hood. What trim turbo's did you go with?
I'll be around 550RWHP... and if I add boost control...
(maybe later

By the sounds of it very bloody soon!Originally posted by MangoSimon, when do you think you'll be moving here? Just curious.
I'm probably going to be flying up on Sunday/Monday to start looking for an apartment and to sort a few things out. On Wednesday I fly back to the UK to see my family, back the next Sunday and then start getting all my stuff finished in Texas to move up to NJ full time.
I.E. I'll be up there from Monday and on and off until there permanently. I stil have some unfinished business here but I'll be flying back as required to sort it out.
Looks like I'm about to shift my whole life again
Want to help me find a cool place in Old Town Philly? An apartment somewhere near the party zone... hopefully with a private garage and two bedrooms if possible...
Think like my place in Dallas but in NJ/Philly...

Simon, lets just say I'm a "party town" philly expert.
I know of some excellent areas you might want to look, one complex was recently completed. There are many very nice condo's and brownstones right near South St. and next to I-95 which takes you right into NJ, getting to NPS is very easy.
If you are going to have any free time during your visit give me a call or e-mail me. I can show you the area. =)

Consider yourself hired! If you can get any web links for me that would be useful. I don't seem to have your cell phone number anymore. Do you have mine? if not e-mail me at manike (at) gmail.com and we can swap numbers.
Freetime?Originally posted by MangoIf you are going to have any free time during your visit give me a call or e-mail me. I can show you the area. =)
I rarely have freetime on trips like this, but I do have time 'to find myself an apartment' so I guess that counts! Probably Tuesday or Wednesday morning.
