Well sanding the threads didn't work, so I just taped some sandpaper on a pencil and sanded down the pin a bit. It actually ground down pretty quick... its sealing perfectly now.

Just listen to me from now on.

Glad it worked out for you.

I'm having a similar problem with the stock AGD ASA, not with cutting o-rings, but with leaks (which lead to cut o-rings). I couldn't unscrew my tank more than 1/8 of a turn before it started venting, but any less and I couldn't de-pressurize the marker (still getting full air). Weird. The o-ring in the ASA will let me use a bottle on the gun without much problem, but it still will not work with any remote I've tried (3 different brands). I'll have to try that trick about sanding down the pin. Thanks for the advice! I've got Uni-mounts on both my RTs, and I love them, but my classic valve Mags I use for rec ball both have stock ASAs. Too bad, since that's when I like to run a remote. Guess I'll just have to spring for a couple more Unis if this sanding thing doesn't work out... Of course, this won't solve my remote problem since it doesn't even use the pin, but at least I can get that o-ring out of there.
