anything from 7"-16" is good ide sat around 9-14 barrel length is pref and doesnt relaly matter unles u using a longer barrel in speedbal to hlep move the buner out of the way...anything over 11" or so wont increase distance

do not quote me on this but i remember reading some where that a 16" barrel is more accurate for only 2 more inches then a 12" barrel...ie...say a 12" barrel is accurate for 200 feet...then a 16" would be accurate for 200feet and 2 inches...

its not really that big of a difference between them...but i don't know how accurate the 10" or even just a barrel smaller then a 12"

      ~NOT POSITIVE ON THIS THOUGH~

dont quote me on this but i think all that you NEED is 8 inches. i stick with 10-12s, but sometimes dont mind a 14 to help push back air ball bunkers

accuracy is paint to barrel match + conssitency.

I have a few makers w/ 6" barrels on them, few others w/ 8s. Besides a minor efficiency loss (6") and more noise, theres really no difference in performance.

i prefer a 12-14 in barrel, no accuracy gain in between the 2, just, with a longer barrel you can push around bunkers, but i dont like too long

Length doesn't matter, diameter does *

I use a 10 for hardcover fields and a 14 for airball. I have used and liked a 7" on my tippmann.

*Actually I don't think paint match is as important as it's cracked up to be either.

I've owned alot of barrels & I found out all the matters is the surface. If its smooth you'll have nice straight shoots, if it feels kinda funny your balls will look kinda funny when they fly out of the barrel.

For a while I played woods balls & speedball and used a spyder flash E. The best barrel was a 12'' J&J ceramic. I would take out people from pretty far away, I remember being shcked a couple of times because some of these people were really faraway.

i prefer a 14" barrel so that i can stay tight, but still work the bunkers when i'm up front

Just a note, I used to play with a vintage micromag they have a 3.5 inch barrel and shoot perfectly straight
