Well, I was going to get a fade ano, but have decided against it since assembling all the raw/chrome parts. There's an auto/antique restoration shop right down the street that can chrome/nickel ano the whole thing. Turns out this shop has been fabricating one-off parts for classic cars for 25+ years right under my nose. I'm taking a couple pieces in that I'm not too concerned about this week for a sample, and if it's good I'll get the entire marker chromed there. Gotta love an ano company that can turn the thing around in a day.

The only parts that are finished on it are the barrel and gas-through, which are both CP make. Everything else is raw. The guys at Deadlywind did a heck of a job on the polished Dallara.

The grip panels are going to be chromed also, then laser engraved with the Silver Surfer cover art from Joe Satriani's Surfing With the Alien disc.

Now ... I just got to figure out how to get the c-clip and washer out of the body without mangling the bloody thing.
