Your answer to video hosting ... finally!

Many fellow AO'ers have asked for this but it always seems like some terrible process to get a video hosted.

I modified my webserver to handle large file uploads. You can now upload videos just as easy as photos on Jayloo.com and link to them from here on AO.

You will not be able to directly link to any video on Jayloo.com from any other site cept automags.org in the very NEAR future.

LIMITS...
1. 100mb upload size max (crazy, I know)
2. you have 20 mins to complete the upload
3. You vid must be approved my me b4 it is on the web.
that's pretty much it.

What excactly do u meen 20 minutes to complete upload? If its like a real long video wouldnt it be worth it. Long videos seem to be awsome. Especially people playing paintball instead of just shooting thier gun with or without paint. I find those videos boring anymore. Ive seen half these things shoot like 1000 times each. I personally just like watching people paintball, that are good.

Since this is a FREE service for you (that I pay for out of my pocket) I have to place some limits. I am not asking for money but I wouldn't turn it away either.

I have written 100% of this site with my own 2 hands. I am working on a java based progress meter for the file uploads. Currently no timer is there and u must be patient. The "timer" is built into the file upload max time settings in PHP. It can be increased if needed.

Currently only I can aaprove video uploads and I am on the site many times every day. I will approve it as soon as I see it. 24 hours at most. Mods will be able to apporve them is due time.

Approved means that it is not a virus, porn or something else non pball related.

Big ups to you .. I use jayloo.com for all my image hosting, best site out there IMO.. You should have a donate button though to, and sell jayloo.com stickers or something, try and make a lilttle $'s to pay for it..
