If you buy a gun and it takes a month or more to get to you there has to be a prob. There is almost no excuse for that. Also, if you play at a very high competitve level you should have a back up gun just in case something does go wrong. If you buy a used gun, make sure its from a reliable person who has good feedback and make sure the gun works correctly. Just because you had one bad experience doesnt mean that all used guns are bad. If you wanna wast 300 on a new emag that wont perform any better than a used one go for it. I know id much rather pay 200 more for used xmag than pay $1000 for a used emag.

I bought my EMag used as well, bout two years ago. Lowish serial # too (EM00260 baby). I've yet to send it into AGD. I did send to BlackVCG for a firmware update and an o-ring overhaul, turn around was less than 2 weeks. There are enough dealers around now that if you need something done quicker than what AGD can provide, they should be able to help you out (BlackVCG, Tuna, etc).Originally posted by Wc Keepyou ever hear of the turn around time to get your gun back? when you play paintball at an extremely competitive level you cannot be without your gun for a month or more, and i have heard of emags taking over a month to get back to their owners.
i bought my emag used. that means someone else did whatever to it and i had to deal with it. guess where that emag is now.....
Plus, if you're at that high of a level, you most likely have a back up marker, too. I'm not at that level, but I have extra markers as backups and loaners (and they're not crappy guns, either).
If it were me, I'd shop for a used Mag. It could end up saving you $500...Comment

Theres really nothin to debate, its one thing to pay a lil more for a new gun but 300 for a gun that will do the exact same thing as a used one is insane. If you have the money to waste id say go for it but imo its a waste of money.Originally posted by gtrsiWe are not really going to get into the new v used debate are we.

I think in this case it is more of the people who want the value of being one of the last ppl to have a new emag. Not only do they get a new gun, they also get the pride of having one of the last emags. to some people that last part is all they need to make up for the difference in price.I am a declared Carb lover.
