e2 will have better eyes, that is to my knowledge, but I could be wrong. I love my e1

E2 has a bounce filter setting, that alone makes it 100 times better than the E1. I think it has better eyes as well as better battery life or somethin. Anyway, it looks good and def way better than the E1 is.

E2 will be nice but I can't justify spending what I've heard it will cost. $525? That's ridiculous for just a grip frame. Also, it will most likely only be about 3-4 BPS quicker.

If thats what its gonna cost its def not worth it but it is better than the older one. Like i said, just the bounce filter is amazing. The E1 bounced like mad and was ver hard to get rid of if ya even could. About the bps, who cares, the old frame was fast enough so a bps increase isnt a big deal.

Having shot a E1 I can say I'd buy an E2 over it if I had to decide between the two. The trigger guard on the E1 is really too small to do anything with - I'm not some 13 year old with tiny fingers after all. I've heard the E2 has a larger guard frame.

Plus, I don't like the boxy gripframe on the e1 - compared to anything with stickies it's a brick to hold on to.

There already is a bounce filter of sorts in the E1 - in the internal setup menu you can adjust debounce settings for trigger pull and release. Most people don't seem to know about it though, since you have to open up the gripframe to get to the menu.

Watched the video on the planet eclipse site. Pretty sweet. I have been shooting the e1 for about a year and it is a great grip. I like the beam-break eyes, the new de-bounce, the blue custom LCD, the proposed energy saving electronics and the new and highly improved 3-way solenoid housing. I have mine on pre-order and it will replace my e1 on the Orracle.

the e2 will be leaps and bounds better than the e1. it does come with a hefty price tag. the eyes are improved and the battery life is greater. this alone is reason to get it. but you should wait til the prices drop. the e1 was around the same price (500) when it came out and then it dropped a couple of dollars.

With the bounce filter I think there are going to be alot of people shooting slower than they thought they could.
