Xino, I think it's great that you are inspired by other people's works, but you do need to lay of the idea-jacking. You wont "win" the contest if you jacked the guy above your post's idea. If either one of you win, it will be the guy who drew it up first. Now, unless you totally, completely, without a doubt have altered the design, by all means post. You do have some great designs of your own, so I dont think there is any need for you to copy other people's designs.

If you compare Bad_Dogs images to Xino's, he didn't clean them up at all. I think he made them more sloppy. And if you compare Glickman's to Xino's, I think he is stomping on glickman's work.

I do, however think that Xino is a great artist. I just dont think that type of drawing is right for body design.

Okay guys, enough bickering, and just enjoy the artwork. ClassicMagger, myself, and the other judges do recognize the ideas by EVERYONE, and we do know who's design is who's. There is nothing wrong with artistic interpretation. I do want to point out, that if we don't have a clear picture or artwork, it truely is hard to guage what the person's original idea was, and how they invisioned it.

I can only speak for myself, but I don't have a problem with improving an idea, and if someone does plagerize artwork we will notice. If you do use someone's idea then acknowledge them, much like Joey D did when he posted Dave's original Xmag artwork, its the only fair thing to do.

correct me if I am wrong, but, isnt that the IT body that PBX did? rumor had it the design was done by colin, but later scrapped. personally, I dont like it, looks too much like the IT body, and the IT body looks gaudy..

Sorry, just saw this. It doesn't look like that body to me. IIRC this idea was posted after the PBX body was made. I could be wrong, really didn't pay that much attention. I still like that design...

Not sure if this little contest is up yet, but if not, here's mine. The darker grey areas represent carved out areas giving this body a three dimensional feathers look. I don't know...I think it'd look cool.
