        Nice pictures man, I like.
Yes that certainly would be embarrasing.

        Very nice photos.

I was shooting anywhere from 1/1600th to 1/10,000th of a second ... the one with 3 balls frozen mid air was at 1/10,000th. f-stop was between 2.8-4.0 (was varing as lighting changed).

Some of the better shots I've seen in a long time. The detail is fantastic....you should do photo work for some of the magazines - these are a lot better than most I've seen published lately!

I dont shoot for any magazine related to paintball. I am a bit of a professional sports photographer, though that was my first run at photographing paintball, which literally took only bout 20 minutes.

I would be interested in working for some pb magazines, but I really dont know which ones are out there or who to get in touch with.

                If anyone has any connections..

If that's you goofing off I fear what shots you'd get if you were doing a job. Those shots are excellent!

those are pretty good pictures, just the people in them need to work on their skill.

the guy in the back of the first picture shoots that thing like he wants to get hit off the break :l
and the dude in the 2nd pic... just no. my friend does that with his impulse and it pisses me off.

the depth of field, or rather, lack of DOF seems a little much. i know its a little difficult to shoot sports with a higher aperture value, but its doable, at least in paintball. try an fstop value in the 5's or 6's, maybe 7's-depending on light- use your ISO to control exposure, and just barely balance it with your shutter speed... paintball is a funny game to photograph... its much like baseball..... stand still- then sprint, repeat... so kinda pastoral/slow at first glance... but then there is the speed of the paintballs themselves... the fastest balls in sports... so its a tricky balance to strike.

good pics, just open that aperature up a bit, especially with a focal length of 300... like i said before... you're losing the guy in the foreground completely at points... oh yeah... and when you usually take pics of people- what do you focus on?... their eyes, its pretty well known.... in paintball your eyes dont tell the same story, so let the gun be your center of focus, it will make the images 'pop' much more....

thats my 2 cents.... job well done man....

Ok that guy in the back of the furst picture is me and because the picture doesn't really show it I was in the process of bringing my marker down still...If you notice the green paintball leaving my barrel (just to the left) is higher than where my barrel is currently in the piture also there is a bunker right in front of my providing good cover but thanks for the notice...I'll be sure to work more on my mechanics.
