I've always admired the original RT body. I have an old-school 68 Automag - original rail & valve. Will the original RT (not RT-Pro) body fit the rail & valve of the 68 Automag?
Not RT vs. RT-Pro, but RT vs. 68 Classic.

No it will not. You might could do some miling and make it fit the rail. But it would not fit a classic valve into that body of a classic RT. The Old RT is designed to air from the bottom. And through a banjo bolt Also its smaller in diameter if I recall correctly. The valve that is. So your classic vavle would not fit inside the Classic RT's body.

      Confused? You and me both!

I do also like that Swiss Cheese front end on that RT body. I Think it can be adapted to a standard RT rail (or better said, the rail adapted to it) but the issue I have is the use of the Larger hole in the rail to accomadate the classic RT's Banjo bolt and then of course the need to use a Old classic RT valve as well. And then how to get the air to the valve? Be creative and do it but....

If thats now what your asking... what you end up with is a classic RT! And you gotta have the body and valve from one to do it... and the banjo bolt.... and a milling machine and a drill bit... etc...

Hopefully I have now confused you enought to stop...
