Good for you, for wanting to take responsibility for your own hobby. But don't feel guilty. Your parents paying for paintball is no different from someone else's parents paying for hockey, or whatever.
For myself, paintball has always come out of my own pocket (I was 21 when I started), so I've never owed anyone for it. But I did look back last year when my younger brother bought a house. I realised that I had spent enough money on paintball for a downpayment of my own.
