The things I didn't say to my 3-way

MY buddy and I were sitting around and realized that we like each others 3-way better, so we traded 3-ways, everything went smoothly on un/installing the unit till it came time to put the hoses on the orracle 3-way, those damned barbs aren't worth the metal they are made out of, it took a better portion of an hour to get the hoses to stay on, It was extremely agrivating, I put the hoses on gas the gun, even timed it, de-gassed the gun, and then the 3-way hoses came off. even after it was timed, throwing me into a whole new dimension of pissed off i've never been . but keeping with the title the things I didn't say to my cocker. Fluffly puppy dogs, longs walks on the beach, and Martha Stewart

it's just the cheap vinyl hose your probably using. urethane is more elastic and doesn't get permanently deformed by the fitting like the vinyl does. did you try cutting the tip off the hose, then attach it? remember, you changed 4-ways right? what was yours? what was his? did both have the same size hose fittings?

just stop and think, usually there is a simple solution to such a simple problem.

Hey buddy, sorry for the issues. I had an orracle and he had an sto. I prefer my Kapp unit and the orracle was sitting around so i figured I would just trade him. Both are WGP units and both are heck to get hoses on. I prefer the bards that are on the Kapp unit.

In case anyone is confused I am the guy Black Tri Star traded 3 ways with.

keep the barbs with the hoses, and just trade 3ways.

When did Johnny Ramone die? That sucks. What is it down to now? Marky is the only Ramone left, true?

That's pretty typical for a 'cocker, that's why I bought a 'Mag 4 years ago. The most reliable markers.

I will say that cockers are a bit more gun to maintain and understand, but nothing over the top. I love my cocker just as much as my mag.

It's the hose. those nipples are actually good ones to have. they have higher flow than those tiny 3-56 thread barbs that KAPP and other aftermarket ones use. the small ones are actually flow restrictive.

but those larger barbs can be a pain for sure. with urethane hose insteadof the vinyl it comes with, it is alot easier. I believe www.demonguns.com sells the good stuff. moody paintball might sell it too.

they need to sell the quality urethane hose right at WGP. on thier guns and on thier website.

Tommy's the only original Ramone left... Marky's left, but he wasnt an original ramone.

Did anyone read my comment? take the barbs out, keep the barbs with the hoses they fit on, and screw em into your new 3way

yeah I read it.not a bad idea, but I don't know if it's a good suggestion for these guys. you could just keep the hose with the particular 4-way it came with too.
they'll swap barbs, and 10 bucks says these two will have more leaks.

                          but that's just my opinion.

                            tophats?

while reading the posts above i didn't see any mention of tophats(hose clamps)
wouldn't that make putting on hose easier and solve the leaking problem?
I've seen them in hose kits usually. pretty effective in my expeience. not bad for a half cent piece of metal
