          some of our guys have shaved off the little paddles on the cone and fixed small foam paddles instead in an attempt to stop the halo smashing balls so often. Works great.

            That only fixes the drive spring tab problem. It would be as bad or worse than the plastic for breaking paint.

            I don't think I'd need the nipples too often as I don't normally shoot really thin shelled paint. It'd be nice to have one of those cone put aside in case I get some in the future.

              flexiable paddles has to lead to slightly slower speeds. when the spinning starts theres the torq, the force of the paddles on the balls has to bend SOMEWHAT.

              good idea but what ever prolong use? wont the paddles wear out like the evos? (bending and stuff)

              i think i'll stick with the shocktech aluminum cone

              but its a nice idea!
