    Best shoes for indoor play?

I'm going to an indoor place tomorrow. What is generally the best type of footwear to use at these types of places? I normally wear an old pair of Vans for paintball, but i'm a little concerned as to whether they will be fine to use.

I would wear, oil repellant soled shoes, you slip less, that would be a tactical boot

I tried to go bare footed on time at a local outdoor field. I really dont reccomend you doing that.

If you are going to wear old shoes, make sure most of the sole is still intact. I played with some old shoes with a smooth bottom, no tread thingys, and it was very easy to slip.

Aqua socks. I used them a few times and they worked well. They are made to climb over slippery rocks and such ...so paint is a.o.k.

i wear low cut hiking boots...the threads on the bottom make it so you wont slip and have plenty of traction to haul *** on the break

Whats the surface at the field, is it astro turf or dirt. Casue an indoor field i used to play just had a lot of dirt that they had brough t in spread out on teh ground on the inside, pretty nice.

I'm pretty sure it's astro turf. I forgot about this thread until now and I bought a $13 pair of soccer cleats at Wal-Mart, hopefully they'll work good.
