Confused!! Dunno which hopper i need

Well i got a 04 bko not too long ago but its out in some other state getting fixed.

I have an ricochet ak, which is like 12 bps they say. And im wandering what hopper i should upgrade to.

The gun only caps at 18 so why do i need some 22 bps halo if i can get the egg. But then everyone says the egg falls apart and feels aqward on the marker.


What i want is your opinions about these 2 hoppers, pros and cons please!

i say get the halo, just because if you do decide to get a better marker, you wont need to upgrade your hopper. Also, dont they make chips to remove the cap on bkos?

halo. Do macro detent mod to it.

Cut 1 mm of macroline and stick it in the oring detent. You won't regret getting a halo If you have blowback it's a life saver.

You can always get the Vaporworks chip done for your BKO I believe which takes away the cap, so you might as well run a halo so you dont have to worry about upgrading again later down the line!

ive had both, and egg with z board and a halo. get the halo. the egg does feel awkward and look at how it sits, that feedneck doesnt seem that sturdy. also, if you get a new gun, or a faster chip, you wont have to worry about getting a new hopper.

The cap on the BKO is a mechanical cap based on the operation of the solenoid.

Agreed. Also, like someone else said, you might as well get one now for when/if you upgrade to a faster marker.

Now i have to save up like 100 bucks for a hopper. I have an AK i only used once now im gettin a new hopper thats funny. Wander how much i could sell it for?

reasonable amount for a used halo? 80 dollars. you will definately want to get a halo to get rid of blowback, unless you want to get a new bolt and then either an apache or an egg....but i say halo still. and yes, do the macroline mod.

the only other option is a halo. You can easily find a used one for around 80 bucks on pbnation.

i got my halo new for $45 but thats me, id say used, $60, seen some for $50
