What does 4.0 mean?

i just bought an emag with 4.0 software and the abriviations of the software is different then the 3.2 software. what does some of the functions/words mean? its got ACE and the emag battery was completely rewired to the rear of the gun.

i know that 4.0 is recalled and i should reflash to 3.2 but this is a experiment im testing on my own. im more of a mech mag person then electro so dont make me feel about it. Thanks AO

some 4.0 work fine others dont give it a try. but for reliability etc i would go back to 3.2

yea, i got 3.2 on my x mag and the emag im just giving it a shot with 4.0. i havent really messed with it cause im out of air. so what does some the functions/abriviation mean? thanks

ACE= anti chop eye mode
MOD 0, 1, 2 = ROF counter. 0 off, 1 true shots per second, 2 knight rider mode
Debounce: 1-10

If it works without any full auto issues or other issues, don't flash it to 3.2. IMO 4.0 is better, and it just makes a gun sell faster because of the cool factor.

If you do not have full auto issues with 4.0 there is nothing more reliable using 3.2. 4.0 offers some nice performance improvements and is a very sought after software revision. Dumping it for 3.2 if you are not having problems is sorta like deciding to remove the turbo charge on your Porsche because it might make the engine run too hot.

See if you have any issues and only then if you do, then go back to 3.2 IMO.

when i get back to town, ill post some pics. yea, the battery is wired to the rear of the gun and the battery lives in a neoprean pocket on the tank, basically its for me to change the foregrip anytime i want too.

yea, i bought the marker from classicmagger and he got it from someone else. it just had service @ AGD supposly. looks cool cept the bicycle grip thats on the emag, i need something else on there.
