use a vice.......put some rubber (can use the strap wrench) around the neck and clamp it in tight closest to the bottom of the neck, but a little off the body. Then twist the body, it should come off easily that way.

I had to boil my TAC-1 body to get my feedneck off. I destroyed one strap wrench and the hair dryer didn't work either.

just take a cheep lighter, crank up the flame, and run it around the base of the feed neck, not too fast, but not too slowly either, it has to get hot. then strap it off. its the easiest way. had to do that to get my speeds damn feednecl off

Thanks for all the help! I got it off using the heat gun and strap wrench.

I personally like the hole idea. At NJAO we destroyed the feed neck on my new ULE body with a pipe wrench because the strap wrench would grip tight enough. Then Tater said, oh, we could have drilled a hole...never thought of that

I managed to break a strap wrench before I got that damn neck off when I replaced mine.

                cheapo tip

if you're too cheap to buy a strap wrench, just take an old serpentine belt from a car engine(im sure someone has one laying around in their garage)
double or triple it(if you can) around the feedneck(or whatever else you're taking apart) then grip both ends with a pair of channel locks or vise grips and do your thing

works great...i used it sucessfully on a hpa tank reg that was threadlocked with RED locktite after i broke a strap wrench on it
