The front doesnt make a difference. Since the front has an Inner diameter greater than the back diameter, and greater than the balls diameter, the ball almost never touches the front. ( long run on) All it will do it make your marker louder, and shorter.Hey, look at that! It's Santa!

I have a TAG tip on my freak kit that is very similar to Doc's. While I did notice a big sound increase my effenciency staid the same. It's fun playing with a 6" barrel on an already short gun.
