Go to southernpb.com as soon as you can. They are having a great sale for python impulses. I have a cobra cocker body I bought a couple of years ago and fell in love with the polished tubes in the body look. I'd buy a python impulse if I wasn't building my new mag, plus I've got a pretty tricked out eclipse impulse, so I can't let myself. I know some people hate smartparts and impulses and stuff, but I love my impulse. Plus I got a combo of eclipse and new designz internals. It rips. And considering the kind of money you would have to spend to get a custom gun like that (the python impulse) I think it's a good deal.

i found a guy on pbn that might hook me up with an 04 viking for my dad. thing is, id have to trade the black body, trigger frame, and sidewinder for a raw one. Can you guys help me find someone that has a raw, or access to raw bodies?

You can get the gun reanodized you know. You dont' need to get a raw body, they strip the old ano with an acid solution.

Its Type III Hard Anno on it, and people say its hard to remove, and that the finished job will not be very good. i called 2 anodizers and they said this.

Wait... he is selling you a mint condition 2004 viking with a kaner barrel kit for $500? There is a saying... let me see if I can quote it... Seriously, precede with absolute caution.

Why is he selling it for $500? Does he have over 100 positive feedback? I usually judge a deal on the feedback to "holy **** that is a sick price" ratio. This one sounds like a 200+ feedback transaction. I would say talk to him over the phone and even then use escrow - third pirty trader system.

Be careful man, some people will try to take advantage of a situation like this.
