Having it give the two fastest shots is nice, but I think more people are interested in seeing that they got a consistent 15bps, not an inaccurate 25bps.
-It already does that. It's loaded with features, some of which actually work.

Seriously, it gives the average ROF (and FPS) of the last three, the last five, and the whole string. Again, that's where I got the average of 30.6/sec for the whole string fired in the last section. I didn't check to see what the last 3 and last 5 averages were, but it gives the user all sorts of information. And I wanted it unfiltered information- you gotta interpret it.

Sure, the big display might say "40" but that's the last-3 average, not necessarily the average for the whole string. Note the final average I got was 30.6, but the video has it stopping on 28-point-something.

The screen, which is difficult to see in the video, is chock-full of data, plus it graphs so you can easily see trends (like, *ahem* ramping...) and so forth. Anybody wanna lend me $20K to finish development and get it into the market?

    Doc.

I ain't got 20k to spend, but since we're getting into the electronics market, we might be able to come up with something!
            Thanks,

The last string had a peak of 45.5 BPS, meaning there were two shots that, if they could be fired at the same rate for a full second, would equal 45 balls being shot.
This is exactly what I ran into with the Halo as well. The Loader is not able to sustain more than about 25-26bps for most of the hopper (until of course the end where all the balls start bouncing around). If you can I highly suggest you try a QLoader (or Ill see if I can get you one). AIC claims 50bps sustained is the max and I can say for certain that it will do mid 30's no problem.

What I like about this video (other than the speed of course) is that the Angel is shooting up to the 30 bps range but its NOT CHOPPING THE BALLS. It's going the EXACT speed that the Halo is loading.

Anyhow mad props Doc, I am thrilled to see something like that coming from a guy who thinks out his presentations

                      1 Second Audio Capture

1 CAPTURED 1 SECOND OF AUDIO AND THE HIGHEST AVERAGE WAS 20BPS.

please note that i averaged shot fires in 1 second. I did not take burst shots in considerstion. I would still rate the highest BPS video I have seen to steelrat's viking (31bps) and Z-Man's Automags (30BPS).

Yeah, but which second did you capture? There's a 1-second interval where it's 18bps Doc even said himself. So unless you produce that sound byte of every single second I'm going to call it out as biased. Not in a "you're doing this to take down Doc" kind of way, but more of a logical fallacy type of biasness. Unless I'm just misinterpreting what you said and you did each and every second analysis? I dunno.

Also I'm sure that a sound file and the radar readout are programmed different. Most chronographs that read out BPS do it based on how fast the fastest burst in 1 second is. So it might in reality be say 22bps but if there's a quick 28bps burst within that second... it'll read out 28bps. While sound files you just count the bumps!

Just out of curiosity.. if you record the firings on a quiet set and you are not hitting anything (to cause false sound spikes) how can a sound analysis be inaccurate? But I think you guys are missing the thing that is most impressive about this video. It's fast yes and it sounds like little blips are in the mid 30's but what I like is that the Angel stayed RIGHT the the feed rate of the Halo. Fast, slow, fast, slow the angel didn't miss a beat or dry fire.

I cannot do that with my Classic RT or my SFL. It's very neat to watch.
