    Conquest on mag?

I was just thinking about getting a MacDev Conquest 45/45 on my mag, but wasn't sure if it was worth the extra money. I have a 68/45 nitro duck right now, but want a smaller tank. I'm thinking about just getting a 45/45 preset crossfire, but maybe the Conquest is worth the extra $$$? Also how many shots would I be able to get out of a 45/45 thanks!

If you have a Retro style valve then the conquest will be worth it as you can adjust the input pressure to get the reactivity to your liking.

If you have a classic valve then adjusting the input pressure wont change anything so there's no point in spending the extra on an adjustable tank.

You'll probably get aproximatly 675-700 shots from the 45/45 tank.

Shots will depend on your set up. Anywhere from 600-800 probably, I get somewhere around there, usually in the 700 range. I like the crossfire tanks just fine, I've never used a conquest. However I love adjustable tanks, especially if the reg on them is quality. So, to answer the question, not too sure if it's worth the extra money. Depends on what you like........

Doesn't the Conquest max out at 600PSI, making it a no-no for 'Mags?

MacDec Conquest sucks ! Impossible to adjust output pression over 800psi ... on/off sucks too (to hard to enable when 'high pressure'). Really, get a Dynaflow or Maxflow ! Forget about Conquest !

If that's true then you're right. A tank that maxes out at 600psi might fire your Mag with the short L10 spring (mine needs at least 700psi for med. spring) but will drop WAY off after like 3 shots of rapid fire.

Whats up with the huge gauges on the Dynaflow, and why would they put one on the bottom (opposite the dovetaile) where it might possibly get impacted from a dive? Maybe thats a stupid question, but I am also on the lookout for an adjustable tank for mags, and I really didnt want to get a max flo (down with SP and all)

depends on what dyna you get. I have 2 news one, one with a set of big guages and one with a set you can move the guages where ever you want on the input ouput. I have never ha a problem with mine...

I have one on my XMag...why? because it was a red system and the XMag is also red....works fine, although the on/off is a real pain - but not that big of a deal....it would not be my choice if I were buying another system. The two Armageddons I have work fine as does my Centerflag system....you do need an adjustable....
