PRESS RELEASE: IAPTE Announces Team Pricing

Press Release - For Immediate Release

    IAPTE releases Team Pricing

IAPTE, Inc. has announced Team Pricing for the International Amateur
Paintball Tournament and Expo scheduled to take place at the Florida State
    Fairgrounds June 16 - 19, 2005.

For all teams in all divisions, the entry fee will be a flat price of $450!

"We thought it was pointless to charge more for Novice or Amateur teams,"
states Bryan Gilchrist, President of IAPTE, Inc. "Additionally, having the
same pricing across the board will avert, say, a Novice Team from playing in
the Rookie Division or an Amateur Team from playing in the Novice Division
because the price is cheaper", he continues. "On top of that, our prices are
still more economical than most tournaments out there of this caliber."

When asked about paint pricing, Gilchrist stated "We are still in
negotiations with paintball manufacturers at the moment, but I can say that
our preliminary paint prices for the players are some of the most reasonably
priced anyone has seen for a tournament of this quality."

For more information on the International Amateur Paintball Tournament and
    Expo, visit www.iapte.com, or call (877) 354-5899.

Not too shabby. They probably figure being "new in town" a good inticement to join would be..... low prices! Can't wait to see what paint prices are, and what manufacturers join up with what quality of paint. Definately best way to have vendors show up with quality paint is to have multiple vendors, otherwise you get the "they have no choice but to buy our crap" syndrome. Though that's of course not always going to happen but does every now and then.
