    barrel questions

So I'm going to buy a barrel kit for the emag I just purchased, but I'm not sure which one to get. I want to get a freak, but I now refuse to buy any more smart parts products (i still have my maxflo, but whatever). A CP kit would be nice, but they are hard to find on ebay or on here in all black (the only one on ebay has a 16" front, and uhh....)

So, that leaves the pipe and the match stik as kits I am considering. The only thing stopping me from ordering the match stik is the price and the lack of reviews, and the only thing stopping me from getting a pipe is that, again, they are hard to find in all black, and they are supposedly *very* loud. Is this true about the pipes? It seems to be a common complaint on pbreview.com. My RT is loud by definition so I figure my emag will be the same way, but I do play in the woods about half the time, so a quieter gun would be better.

    Your advice is much appreciated.
Primary: Black Ule Emag, Rogue Wingless Rail, X-Valve, CCM No-Rise, CP Rail Drop / on/off, Egg, 14" CP two piece, 70ci (peanut) dye throttle.

For sale: Micromag RT, Intelliframe, Egg, 12" Dye Stainless, Kapp Foregrip, 88ci Smart Parts Max-Flo 4500psi.

Well, you haven't mentioned the Powerlyte sceptor, which is a really tight system and the price isn't so bad either...

LOL!! I see frischtr beat me to the post

This has come up in quite a few forums in the past. If you do a search that would help you out since there are many different opinions on this one:

pipe, my friend has a pipe on his imp, another one has it on his cocker, another one has it on his mag, its very quiet and cleans thorugh a break very good, A+ barrel

dont have first hand knowledge with the matchstick but its supposed to be very good

i forget where but theres was a study and it showed that barrel kits made no difference, that the air made the paint a perfect fit (cept for too big paint) so thats why im just gettin a cp one peice

There is also the SM-1 kit by Sanchez Machines. I saw someone in the dealers section selling them quite recently.

Look into JJ's Edge Kit. It's cheap and effective. I love mine.

Pipes are decent. The SM1 that my buddy has is great ( really ). He baited me with the old "I think I'll sell it off" I of coarse jumped all over him like a fat kid after a cookie ( yea i'm a fat kid). Now he wont sell it. Should have been smoother in my aproach.

Consider a Snapshot Kit? LAPCO makes some good stuff and they aren't too pricey.
Warped Sportz Lucky 15's also would be up there for me,
Maybe even a Pepper Stick kit (when ever Redz lets that onto the market).
Long Bow for those of you with unlimited resources.
