    pds paint detection system

i own a 2004 bko with an empire reloader b. this thing can not go over 10 or 12 a sec with out chopping left and right with the reg set at 325. i now call it a chopmaster instead of a bushmaster. i would like to put on a PDS to prevent chopping, but i can only find one for 125. does anyone know where i can buy this for cheaper, or around the same price? also i read some good stuff about the tantrum bolt. would a tantrum almost eliminate my chopping problem? thanks

125 should include installation, which is about the best your going to be able to find because thats how much everyone charges really. You dont really want to do it yourself because one screw up and you have to buy a new body... thats pretty much the price your looking at... if someone knows better go ahead and post I do not provide the end all argument...

You could also look into the OTB Blind Bolt.

      Or a new gun.

Blind bolt is still unproven, not enough positive results. Not all aftermarket bolts fit perfectly into ICD markers because the tolerances are a little different. So most people get the blind bolt, have to sand some of it down and then have major blowback problems!

Nothing wrong with doing the pds, might be worth looking into a used b2k3.5/4 w/pds already which can be had at a decent price and probably come out not too far over the 125 you would spend on the pds...

Not a direct answer, but 10-12 bps is no challange to a HALO .
I would suspect PDS would not cure your problem and would have no effect until 20-25 BPS.
I'm certainly no B2 expert but it sounds like a detent problem to me. It's also possible you have a misalighned ball stack, so moving the loader up or down in the feed neck may give some results.

Blind bolt sucks compared to PDS.

My thought is send it to someone to mill the eye holes and buy srstunnalots wirring harness. the harness comes with eyes and runs 55 bucks shipped. I ams sure you can get someone to plumb holes for you for about 30 bucks.

                ..

Sounds like all you need is to do the Macro upgrade to your o-rings. I've got a a standard B2K4 with a Reloader B and I have no chopping problems. Do some research before slandering your marker please, we dont need another Mag style reputation going around.
