i have a 2004 bko with an empire reloader b hopper. i did the macro hose mod to the detent, and it does not double feed. the problem is that the gun still chops like a b****. so i was wondering if i got a tantrum bolt for 60 bucks, would that help chopping. the bolt description says it reduces chopping, but i would like to hear from someone that has one on their bko to see if it is worth the money. if it still chops a lot, i will just get a PDS...o yea.. i tried my reg at diff. settings, and the highest i can get is about 7 a sec w/o chopping. thanks in advance

I say go for the PDS install.
The new eye logic is great considering the BKO bolt operation.
First it will check for a ball, once the break beam from the eyes are blocked, then it will fire. It will then wait for the bolt to clear and the eyes to become uncleard, then wait for it to be blocked again until it shoots. In my theory, the bolt operation isn't fast enough so sometimes you shoot faster than it could completely recock. Also, try lubing up your ram. And also, set your regs according to the manual. Set the HPR around 225psi then adjust velocity with the LPR.
