          My little brother and his pals once spray-painted numbers on their jerseys for a soccer tournament. It's quick and easy, but the paint smell lasts a long time. And the painted areas are not breathable. It never comes out in the wash. I suppose that could al depend on the type of paint you use, though.

            I spray painted Team Never on the front of a black longsleeve shirt, its held up in 3 washes and the paint smell is gone, but its getting hard to read, I got to re-do it so it looks better, I didn't spray it good in the first place.
