Looking for a good yet Cheap Pump gun...?

    My Emag got stolen(http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=155519) EM0121

So.. I purchased an Xmag X00012..(out of my pocket Insurance asses still havent given me a dime)

But regardless when I used my Emag people were always saying it was all the gun.. and if they had a gun like that they could take out 7-8 people a game. Well the gun helps but its mainly the playing skills/tatics etc.. Im looking for a pump gun that I can pull out when everyone starts whinning about my gun.. Last time someone whined they proposed 8 on 1.. needless to say I won.. from the start I charged the starting bunker where everyone was, laying down a spray as I ran.. rounded the corner tagging everyone out... and then preceded to take everyone out who had ran the the direction opposite to the where I had ran to... it was amusing and no one said anything negative to me the rest of the day.. but still.. Id like to have a pump gun to show them its not the gun its the play style..

Any suggestions ? This would be a backup gun so Id use my primary hopper and Nitro.. Im looking for a gun that shoots where I want it to(paintballs arent that accurate I know) but has more measure of control then a raging semi.. Any Ideas ? I know most people will suggest pump mags but Ive had those before and they were great for thier time but dont really provide the accurate shot on shot Im looking for (Dont flame me !) Any other suggestions in the $100-300 range ? Cocker barrel threads are a plus because thats the upgrade barrel system Im looking to get for my Xmag although for the next couple of months it will stay with the standard barrel.

what he said ^^ and as for people complaning... some people will always complain, there was a guy at my field with a timmy (i think 2k2) that said i only got him out cause i outshot him... and i have a mech mag. be prepared for people to say your pump is just more accurate. i think what you should do is just play with more skilled people.

With wanting it to have cocker threads you end up looking at a couple different routs. Build a custom which would max your money stated very quickly ( if your going all out for best parts) or buying which leaves you with te following choices.

Illusion good marker with interesting add ons. ( stock class change over etc)
Sniper II decent marker can be found for a reasonable price. No autotrigger.
Chipley run lots o money but I dont know of a better made cocker style pump.

Couple places to check are white wolf & bunkerboyz. Some of the best prices around.

Personally I run a phantom. Been a CCI fan for over a decade. One thing about the phantom is that the stock barrels that come with it are just as accurate as any aftermarket barrel you will get. I have a J&J ceramic aftermarket but dont use it much. Most phantom guys use the stock barrel. Go to phog its AO for pumpers. Any & all questions will usually get answered without any attitude.

            sniper.

you can get a cheap cocker body (they are listed for sale frequently) and put whatever components you want in it. cocker threade barrels obviously, many and various manufacturers of aftermarket parts. also, pump kits are inexpensive and easy to install.
if you're at all handy teching, it should be no problem.

add a switch kit and you're good to go.

Gotta love phantoms and Illusions. I use an ACI Hornet, works wonderfully, and was only $65

I used to have an old tracer and I loved it! No cocker threads though. I have shot phantoms and they are awesome too but again not cocker threaded. I haven't ever shot a sniper or any chipley or illusion but I'm sure they are real good too. Some people will always complain when they get shot out with any gun. They will always come up with an excuse. Last time I played, I was using my emag and kept shooting this one kid with an old mech spyder single trigger and all, and he kept saying it was becuase my gun was better than his. He failed to realize that he was leaving himself wide open every time. I was just hitting him one or two times also. I think he should have been kind of grateful that I wasn't one of those guys with a high end marker that just mowed noobs all day. Luckily the crowd that was at the field that day was pretty cool and helped the kid to realize his mistakes and not just cover him from head to toe with paint. Some people even go as far as to refuse to play against people with higher end guns if they only have beginner guns.

                    i hate people like that.
last wednesday i was playing with a double trigger mech piranha with a VL200 hopper against people with some higher end guns, infact i shot a guy out that was shooting a chipley bodied E-blade. he was running, i layed a small string at him and got him once. its all skill.

think every hit it before I did. I have a phantom for sale, go to the guns classified threads and check it out.

hehe actually half of them were tournament level players who just acted stupid because of the overwelming odds.. The field was also in a indoor tiny field.. So if you can run fast doesnt take but a couple seconds to get from one end to the other.
