    The IntelliDyeFrame

WoW. I'm the type that likes to save money. I found a new dye frame with everything installed for 36 bucks... But i really wanted an intellifeed. So i was doing some research and the only thing different the intelliframe had was the Bracket to hold the reciever and the looks . Anywayz i went out to radio shack and bought the wire and went to the airgun tech site and looked up on how to make the intellifeed. So i did everything, looked fine. Only hard part was putting in the reciever inside and angling it. I then figured out you needed shocks cause it moves around a lot and it has to move around a lot. And if you dont have shocks it will get out of place. So since i didn't have springs i used paper. Yes paper, actually a flascard. So then i fit it in. I put it on put everything together and guess what, IT WORKS..!!!

If you would like more instructions on HOW to do this email me or pm me. Here are some pictures

Well, $36 is a good deal on a DYE frame. But a new one almost costs the same as an Intelliframe. But the Intelliframe is also built to exacting AGD tolerances. It also comes with a trigger and grips unlike the DYE.

      new DYE 2x frame($80)+trigger($20)+ grips($20)=$120
      AGD Intelliframe w/ trigger & grips=$115

But anyways, good job on the frame. Tunaman has also already done this mod to DYE and Benchmark frames.

I have a dye frame too, and I tried that paper jam thing for a while... but it kept screwing up on me.

Then I tried to tie it down, but it always loosened up just enough to get screwy.

I ended up just krazy glueing it down. It works awesome, and I haven't had a problem yet. Unfortunately, if I ever do, I might have some trouble rearanging it in there.

yes but compare the 40 to a measly 8. not too much of a hassle but if you dont got/want to spend the extra 30 on the board you might as well take the trip to your local radio shack and taking 30 maybe less minutes on making the intellifeed. thats just my opinion though. but hey if the intellifeed board was the same price vs. the regular intellifeed i would pick the board anyday.

Don't tape up the IR sensor unless you really want to. When there are few balls in the hopper the intellifeed is bad at feeding them so it's nice to have the eye kick in and flush them out. If you wanted to disable the IR sensor you could of wired the revolution differently. Once more, I think it's best if you allow the revvy to work with the eye and intellifeed signals.

Taking mags apart is fun, its even more fun when you don't know what you're doing

Would hot glue do the trick? it would keep the wires connecting to that roller in the grip together and it would keep it from moving around...i'm hooking up my intelli on a dye 2x frame right now so i would like some feedback asap..
