    back in the early days of high school a kid couldn't get his gun to fire, so he looked down the barrel pulled the trigger and shot himself right in the eye. Stupidest thing ever. He did not go blind and did not sustain any eye damage either so he was lucky.

      ^^^ Happened in my town too. At some private little field. I had played there the week before and informed the kids about safety and such... my team had a chrono and suprisingly all the markers were under 300 [one was actually at like 220 and the kid had no idea], and we told em about condoms/etc.. and they did it for the day.

      Seems like it carried over.
