Hey all, I'm looking into buying either a Halo or Empire hopper, i'm just wondering whats the difference if any between these two loaders. And which one would you buy and why?

      lol.

this has been covered a bunch of times -- i did the same thing. but searching would help..

reloader b has a rip drive stock, 3 speed moves, and is sound activated (no eyes).
halo b doesn't come with a rip drive stock, one speed unless you victory board it, and is eye based.

reloader is roughly $130-140. halo b stock is $100.

i bought a reloader B and love it.

halo b because it is faster.

the empire reloader b claims to be faster, however this is not true. the reloader is sound activated, whereas the halo uses eyes to sense when the motor should spin. think about a bit of physics on this one...which travels faster, light or sound?

also, the tray inside of a reloader is made of a cheaper plastic than the halo's tray is made of. ive seen a reloader that had the entire inside of the feedneck shatter.

Either you won't out shoot them unless you are ramping or bouncing. I own both and like both.

The both work off the same spring tension design so it is really pointless to say which one loads quicker. If you really want to beat a dead horse think of this also. For a Halo B to start to spin there has to be movement in the ball stack. So there has to be an empty breech basically when the bolt comes back after a ball is shot.

The ReLoader works on sound and thus starts spinning when the bolt is still forward as soon as the ball is shot.

          It really doesn't matter.

I find the Reloader to be more consistent and the V35 board to have faster bursts. If you do blend a ball, which does happen in both, you won't have to worry about your eyes getting blocked in a Reloader B.

The Reloader B can be cheaper whe you put in the cost of Halo B, V35 and Rip Drive.

Which is faster, light or sound. Wow. Since nobody's fingers can outrun either, maybe you can tell us how that would make a difference? And since the eye in a Halo detects ball movement, how is it going to be faster if the balls have to move in the stack before it rotates vs. having a loader that will trip when the gun fires?

All the components except for those involved in the mode of activation are the same: Shell, cone, clutch, etc.

Nope the Empire shells have glitter so it makes it faster. It also distracts other players with it's hypnotic shimmer causing them to edge out of their bunkers making them more of a target.

BTW if you already have a Halo Empire has an upgrade kit that comes with the board an 4 AA battery pack. It drops right in.

ok, i have a halo B, which i love, and a teammate uses an empire reloader, i think if i were to be buying a new loader i would get the reloader, comes with rip drive, tad faster (not a ammount thats really gonna make a diferance on the field), the ability to use 4 AA's instead of 6 is nice, both are quality loaders, but the relader seems worthe the $30 exra

Manike himself has said that the Reloader B is slower than the Halo-B. (I'll trust the guy who has patents on the loader.)

                        Not quite what I said...

When sustaining high rof the Halo B software allows it to drive faster than the reloader, but most people never get to that point and for most in reality, it's pretty much the same due to the spring tension.

                          Burn!

I use a Reloader B, but it does have some weak plastic parts.

get a ricochet AK, its better than a halo, halos are just extremely hyped

                            jk.
Id say go for a halo unless you shoot black paint or youre worried about the eyes, since its cheaper. Youre never going to outshoot it anyway unless you have insane bounce or ramping.
