Proto is a fine choice. Doesn't outperform the DM5. Might SLIGHTLY outperform a DM4, but nothing to scream about, and it unfortunately doesn't have the DM4 on/off. Proto is a little smaller and lighter, though.

Used Dm4 or a Proto will do you fine. I don't think they're that nice looking of guns, but the performance is definitely top notch.

you know what.. i was actually gonna have my friend try and see if he can pick me up the 05 Ripper but i thought to myself and i think 1500 isnt worth it for me because thats a little too much....so i decided to go with the proto....oh...if anyone has pictures of the 05 timmies..please share...id like to see em

ok..im planning to buy the proto matrix 05 juss because its is less than a 1000 and it looks like it may out perform the DM4 from the info i got....anywayz does anyone know about it or have seen it in person?....because to me it looks a little fat...unlike the DM4 which is thin...
so anyone know?

The silver/black proto looked pretty good at 'cup. If you go to 'cup you can fire the Matrixes just sit through the line.
