Is there anyway you can do custom designs for us? I may want a few shirts (non pb), and maybe you can do it for me.Hey, look at that! It's Santa!

Probably not. Doing it locally is always cheaper for you and you get the one on one communication with the printer. I have heard a lot of horror stories of shirts done out of state because what you want to see on the shirt and what the person putting in on the shirt sees is a different thing.Originally posted by WenULiVeUdiEIs there anyway you can do custom designs for us? I really don't like internet screen printers either. They charge a lot from what you can get it done locally. Shipping shirts that weigh close to 20lbs is not cheap at all.
ALWAYS LOCAL!Comment

Just to show some support, when i get the cash, ill throw u guys $100 or so for a "mystery Lot" Just send me whatever stuff u want. ALso, you guys need a "Design your own Shirt" thing where u an select the logo, logo color, shirt color, and shirt size for like $17. I guarantee it'll be a major seller.Comment

That would be kinda coola ctually, but it would require some mad java or flash programming so people could see how it comes out, otherwise its a shot in the dark. Its a wakeup call for the Nintendo generation

Only problem is screen printing is expensive and would take forever to do that. Screen printing isn't worth the effort until like 30 shirts or so.
You have to make the design, print it out, burn it in a screen after you enamel it, wash the screen, dry the screen, set it up on press, run test ink in it, use real ink, do shirts right, wash screen.
Takes like a hour to do one screen.
The things you see at events where they make a shirt for you is heat transfer. Stuff is real cheap and usually only works on black or white shirts. SO CHEAP looking and crappy. Washes off in like a month.Comment

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo im not saying people create their own designs, im saying they pick from designs that you have already made. Then they choose shirt size/color. lets say i want the paintball guy on it. I want a black shirt size large with white ink... etcComment

I know what you're sayin ...
I'm saying that by a 'create a custom shirt' even using preset designs you'll need to know how they appear ON the shirt before ordering. So basically you put the SUNDAY PAINTBALL w/ star on the front, and whatever on the back, in whatever color. How will that turn out with BLACK, WHITE, RED, etc lettering?
To do this, effectively, on the web you would have to have a sort of flash program made w/ the designs where you can "preview" your design, or some type of database and graphics program integrated to show the "rough" idea. Otherwise you could get a fugly shirt if you select colors/etc wrong. Its a wakeup call for the Nintendo generation

Flash wouldnt be that hard to do, or u can just simply have a picture of all shirts with all ink colors with all logos. Just limit the colors to black and white, thats really all you need.Originally posted by digitardI know what you're sayin ...
