AFAIK, the Empire Reloader 2 is new so that leads me to think you're not out of touch. Having "All your base are belong to us" in your sig leads me to believe otherwise though...

Nope, it not the B. It is a revision of the original Reloader. It uses magnets, instead of springs to open the lid. Manike( Simon) posted on the Guild about it.Hey, look at that! It's Santa!

is that the only difference .....it doesn't feed any faster or have an mp3 player built in or any thing like taht
(ref to mp3 player is an exageration(sp) not to be taken seriously)ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!

It's not old news. They've only just been available for sale last week. It's a new body style incorporating some novel ideas and the well proven sound activated technology.
It has a nice smooth flowing shell design with very few sharp corners to reduce weak spots and make it easy to clean. The neck is very smooth and filleted in order to prevent stress cracks and hopefully make a much better all around loader. I HATE it when loader necks break stupidly easy so I tried to reduce stress locations and make a sturdier unit. Also the battery door is now retained fully inside the body so there are no chances of losing it in your kit bag or major pains trying to open it on the side of a table just to watch it fly into oblivion as you skin your knuckles...
The lid hinge pin is also a big beefy design so you don't have a pain reassembling (or on initial assembly) to get the little wire pin and spring (now removed and using magnets) into place. Our whole intention was to bring agitating loaders up to modern times, in terms of functionality and styling.
The lid feels very cool to open and close. It uses magnets to hold it open and shut. It's a test of the idea and if it proves favourable you may see it on more products.
It has a very similar profile to the revy but has a larger capacity.
