AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
beadblasted, if you asking cause you are planing on polishing one yes with some work they polish up nice sand them with a fine grit sand paper (like600) and then polish the crap out of it till it shines to you liking
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
only 600 grit? Try much higher(in the thousands IIRC)... 600 is actually only one of the first stages...then working up to higher numbers, then polishing compounds etc. It pains me to think of some of the AOer's arms and how much work for some bodies.
Oh yeah!! The shine up nice if you put some time into it..........do a search on "ploishing body" and look for stuff written by (Doc Nickle)
Lol, not sure how much you'd find searching for "ploishing body" hehe.
