Drill or Melt?

I just recieved my warp body left for my warp feed. My question is should I melt the hopper, to get a tight fit, or cut the hole? Please give specific directions on how to do ither.

And I am sure there are more.. that was just done in a few seconds using the SEARCH feature and the word MELT. I am sure if you specify better, it will get even more.
