    Smartvalve curiosity.........

Hey, I understand what the concept of the smartvalve is, BUT has anybody actually dealt with it before. Does anybody know if they actually work, or was it jus a gimmick. I'm looking to buy a micromag and it has a smartvalve on it. I know everyone is going to say "Just stick with the x-valve and lvl 10", but I have a karta with all the goodies and have always wanted a micromag. It's used, cheap, and a little upped. So I'm not looking to get a mag and upgrade the crap out of it.

SOOOOO....If anyone knows anything about/has dealt with a smartvalve I'd really appreciate a little input.

    Thanks guys.

The Smart Valve does nothing to enhance performance. It's basically the same as a classic or 68 valve. Yes, it was a gimmick but unless it's damaged or not properly installed it shouldn't be adverse either. You're basically just buying a micromag with a stock valve. Don't let the seller try and raise the price on the marker because it includes that peice.

Hey, thanks. I had heard similar things from other guys and figured that that was the case. Oh well, will still probably get it and have a breakdown in two weeks to get x-valve/lvl 10.

      Thanks again.

Sure thing. I believe it will still count as a trade in for the x-valve. So, $225 instead of $325.
