    What will happen to AO?

    A question to ponder....

Tom has decided to revamp AGD. His plan is to do away/rename everything with the "Mag" name, so, I was wondering if AO will get a new name?

Abandoning the "Mag" signifier seems a little counter-intuitive. I can understand that Tom might want to have people thinking about AGD products in a different way. However, the AGD empire is a "Mag" empire. All the markers they sell are Mags and I don't know if that will change.

Regardless of what AGD names their next product, I still own a Mag (two actually). And we can always just call AO: "AGD Online". There is no "M" in "AO".

We could make it stand for "An Octopus."

I have a tac-one and an emag. They are both still mags.

What the difference in a tac-one and a RT Pro? Milling is all.

I feel that AGD would have to come up with a completely different marker/valve design to get rid of the mag name. Anything with an xvalve will be called a mag no matter what u put the valve in.

BTW, I love my emag and am proud to say i own a mag.

What will happen to AO? I'v been wondering the same thing. This is the first forum I have ever belonged to and I believe it is the second largest paintball forum on the net. The folks are cool here. I have no reason to believe anything will change anytime soon.

Someone is paying for this site, probably AGD. When they stop payin no more AO.

You and I know the difference... John Q. Public at first glance doesn't.

But Tom's marketing it at the Tac One. Not the Scenario Mag. It doesn't use the mag name at all.

That's right, and that makes sense. But then that makes me wonder... who pays for pbn? And why?

Youd be supprised to find out who actually owns many of these type of sites and why they even exist.

heck a while abck some people even offered to make contributions like pbn and tom said no thanks thats not what ao is about.

ao wont be going anywhere anytime soon.

its here to help people with any mag problems they might have. provide a community etc.

if anything a redesighning of the site but i dont see any big changes coming anytime soon.
