AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Just to let you know, a Duck will run you anywhere from $1000 to (there was one on ebay) $3000. They are very rare and if you find one for sale, good luck getting to it before someone else.
I know that one, that's Ralph Torell's (or Torrell, something like that). Very nice duck, shoots great and the pump is smooth as buttah! It's like buttah! Great now I'm feeling vaclempt....... talk amongst yourselves!
Okay I'm fine. But the grip frame is a flip-changer. Push the pin and the door drops down. Quite fast, but also dangerous. Wrong hands can make it a 12-gram launcher!
That Duck isn't a regular one. He was chummy with Earon, gave him $2500, and asked nicely for one. Carter then made it. So that's actually not one of the 'original' 25 (or however many it was, 20 or 25, something along there).
Okay.....somebody better give us all a history of the "Duck" paintball gun. I've been around paintball since the early 90's (actually....a little before that but wasn't playing until then). It's a Carter Custom??? Let's have the history, man!!!!
Meph you forgot the Ralph begging and pleading with Carter and the part of him selling his original duck to get it...
I still want my damn ajax grips back from that ....... Those be mine!
Having shot said blue duck.. Im not impressed. Honestly I can think of alot of better things to drop 2500 on. But then again Im just a jaded old (? okay relativly young ) paintballer
