Do you think a DM4 is worth $900? Because to me they feel the same when shooting.

never shot one.. onley a dm4 and i love it!..those protos look ungodly ugley

i think i wold almost buy a dmfo for the same price..

I have actually always thought the DM4's were some of the ugliest guns ever made. I think the Proto and DM5 both look way better than the DM4, but that's just my opinion. The Proto and DM4 feel the same when shooting to me, but then again they both feel like the DM5 to me also, I feel no change in shooting. Of course the DM5 is slightly smaller then both of them.

i have already heard alot of people having problems with proto's (i frequent the PBN DM4/DM5/PM5 section because i own a DM4) i would wait till after the first run to fix the kinks in it. The proto is a smaller, lighter, more efficent DM4 (allthough the differences are really barely noticable, they are there) (just like DM5), downsides of proto compared to DM4- no chips/board for proto (DM4 and DM5 take same aftermarket chips/bards) proto has its eyes on ribbons, which is less reliable, proto has no on/off, proto has worse stock barrel, proto is taller, i think for the money, i would pick up a used DM4 with tadao for ~$850-$900 its almost the same gun, with non of the downsides, and a crazy fast legal board

Proto is lighter and smaller then the dm4 and dm5. Dm4 and Dm5 are basically the same weight.
