    SS body + powdercoat = disaster?

    Hey AO, i'm tryin to get my hands on a ss cf body just cuz i got a bunch of twistlock barrels for dirt cheap. I was just wonderin if i can powdercoat it another color cuz ss doesn't usually anno well. If not powdercoat, is there a way to make it not chrome? *cough* blue *cough*

    P.S. Plz dont just say buy a ULE i dont wanna spend money on new barrels when i've already got 3 good ones.

          If you mask the interior portions, I don't see how powdercoating would cause problems.
          God gave you a soul.
          Your parents, a body.
          Your country, a rifle.

          Keep all of them clean.

              You can powder coat a SS body with no problem, but you have to make sure not to coat the bottom of the body where it sits on the rail and to mask it off so you do not change the internal tolerances of it.
